Pacquiao vs Bradley - Chief trainer Freddie Roach confidently predicted a knockout in the coming title bout between eight-division champion Manny Pacquiao and World Boxing Organization junior-welterweight champion Timothy Bradley.
The Hall of Famer admitted that the undefeated Bradley is younger, aggressive and well-trained, but he is sure thatPacquiao will keep his 147-pound crown and believes Bradleywill not last six rounds.
“Manny’s experience and determination to win impressively unlike in his fight against Juan Manuel Marquez will carry him through,” Roach said in an overseas telephone interview from Los Angeles.
Roach has received reports that Bradley is working out daily, even on weekends, and calls himself the best-conditioned fighter in the world. But Roach has also heard that Bradley weighs 165 pounds now with little or no body fat.
“Will he make the weight? If he does, will he be as strong as Manny, who I’m sure will be much, much lighter than he is come fight time?” Roach asked.
